Are there any sedans with LS2 6.0 engine?

the g8 has a 3.99-inch-bore x 3.62-inch-stroke 200/208-degree 0.472-/0.480-inch

and the ls2 has 4.00 inch bore x 3.62" stroke 204/211 at 0.50 and 0.520/0.520 lift

The G8 GT uses the L76 and the GTO uses the LS2 both are 6.0 except the G8 GXP uses the LS3 6.2 motor. LS2 and L76 use the same block.

The G8 GT L76 uses a different cam that is AFM/DOD whatever so lift is limited because of the special lifters. One of the reasons why the HP is lower than the LS2's. The L92 heads are better than the old cathedral port heads they flow alot better

In a nutshell L76 = LS2 Block, L92 Heads, AFM/DOD Cam, LS3 Intake

No Issue! I started looking into those things a few years back when my wife wanted to trade in the GTO we had for something with 4doors and a v8 so that was the first car I looked into. I use to think it was an ls2 also.

I guess it is kinda like the difference between a 2v and 4v. I always like g8s. Only ever ridden in one and it was nice. It was a sixxer though.

Kinda sorta! And yea they are damn nice inside and out and it seems like the price is creeping up a bit on them.

If you even remotley are considering this, stay away from the LS4 front drive cars...

4t65hd transmissions are junk, you cannot find the 1" chains for them anymore, and some of the top builders in the country wont rate them past 500-550whp. Which in an LS platform is stupid easy to obtain...

Your looking at the G8 and CTS-V only... Have fun

And yes, mileage will very, but ive seen that much out of a turbo ls1 in a six speed car..

I dont want a Charger because my nephew has one and its a gas guzzler (15mpg highway)

Ive read people whom had the GTO with the LS2 were getting 25mpg highway. And please dont say buy a Honda, becus It it possible to have decently fast car without having a severly gas guzzling car.

Anyways, any ideas are helpful. Thanks guys!
Not sure but if you're getting rid of the stang or not but if you're looking for more power do an LS swap. You can have insane power for half on what you'd spend on a new ride.

Yes I probably was going to get rid of the mustang but not only because of the lack of hp. I wanted something that was a lil more roomier. Im actually a small guy 5'6, 160lbs, but for some reason I just cant get comfortable in my mustang unfortunately. Its hard to explain but the seats are just uncomfortable?? Also I wanted something that was a lil more rare and would hold value longer. I figured I could sell my Mustang and Altima and buy a GTO or something fast and roomy. I really like the Pontiacs because they have that "everyday look". But I really love the look and interior of the 05-09 GT's. I know they are not much roomier but I just think they are the best looking mustangs other than the 60s stangs. Ive been seeing 05-06 Gt around $10-$13k wiht around 100k miles. So I may go that route just because i love mustangs. It just seems with the GTO's, you have instant power and no need to save up $$. Just buy and go!!

Also my friend is a a service manager at the Ford Dealer, so i get great discounts on parts and service.
