Default Lincoln Continental 4.6 4v

I have a '97 Lincohn Continental with a front wheel drive 4v 4.6l engine. Is this engine worth pulling(rebuilding) and installing in a Mustang? Is the transverse 4v different than the Cobra 4v? Is the Motor mount bolt locations drilled and taped in the same places? Are the heads the same as the Cobra of the same year? Thanks for any help.

Im pretty sure it wont work at all due to being designed to work with a FWD car.

continental block will not work, the bolt pattern for bellhousing is different as well as the mounts. The heads are about the only useful thing you can ****** off that motor

find a 93/98 Mark VIII 4V and that makes a great swap choice. I like the Mid 97 to 98 VIII becasue the intake is not in a stupid location

Wont work. The FWD bolt pattern is completely different than the rear drive. The heads are the same, think the cams are different.
