Default 2002 Mustang water drips down from window in rain

I have a 2002 V6 mustang but the body style is the same as the 4.6 which is why im posting in this section of the forum in hopes of more responses. Everytime it rains i believe the water runs up the trim above the door then drips over the side into the car. It falls down in huge drops onto the power locks or onto my leg. I do not know why the rain water falls in. Its not like a regular car because i have never had a car have problems with a window down like this is the rain ever. Are there any type of rain gaurds made for this car after all it isnt like a regular window. Or has anyone made a solution to the problem without having to get rain gauards?

When its raining, leave your window up. Fixed.

I noticed that on mine also. Even the slightest crack, the water pours in. IMO, it would look stupid with rain guards.

Are you a smoker?

I have a vert and it does the same thing when I open the door in the rain. The water pours onto my legs, window panel, and carpet. It's very annoying. Same happens when the window is slightly open in the rain.

Same issue here! If you do smoke, get an e cig...problem solved. I only smoke E cigs in my car so it doesnt smell like cigarette smoke.

If it is leaking in while the window is all the way up, then it may be the door hinges. Your hinges may have worn causing the door to drop slightly. Open the door and grab the end of it, then lift it up and down to see if there is any play in the hinges.

Here are the procedures for adjusting the window height and stabilizer stops, check to make sure they are properly adjusted and torqued down...

Default Same issue

2012 V6 Convertible.
This is the main thing I hate about this car.
Open the window even a half inch and it's one focal point where all the rain keeps dripping in. Leg is constantly wet four inches above the knee.
Thinking of adding superglue to create a small flange so the rain will flow somewhere else than into my car. SOOOO annoying. Never had this with any other car.

Has anyone else found a solution?
