Default a lowered stang will clear a 29" tire ;)

Just incase anyone was wondering. i got these 235/65/17 tires for free from work, going to use them when i make the drive to myrtle beach to lower my rpms so the cars not so loud lol. anyways I believe they equal out to a 29.03" tire and they tuck in nicely under the car. ofcourse, if they were any wider they'd be hitting the inner portion of the fender. but here's a pic, gonna have to paint the wheels or something so they dont look so ugly for the trip down and back LOL.

not sure about the ride, as long as it doesn't vibrate at 70 i'll be happy lol. and i'm on trying to save all my money for the trip so the track wont be visited again until after i'm back.

What lowering springs are those? I think that the cars gonna be a more cushiony ride and your tractions going to suck pretty bad.

springs are eibach sportlines with no iso's front or rear.

and i'm sure you're right, no traction with a little 235, but i dont care they're only going to be used for the 1800 highway miles to myrtle beach and back. hell, i had these tires on my buddies gt that made 550+whp. she kicked out at 85 in 4th on my way to work one morning, that's a good way to wake you up i'm tellin ya!

LMAO, when I first read the thread title I thought you were talking 29" wheels/dubs/pimps/spinners/etc...lol

I came in here ready to unleash...lmfao

I think they actually look pretty good on there. Not the most stylish wheel out there, but the size fills it in nicely.
