That is a big red BOV and it will work for a blow thru since you can't recirculate the air back to the pipe with that one

If your maf is after the blower then you're running a blow thru setup. Draw thru setups have the maf before the blower

Thanks MCxQubed!
Could I still run the same MAF I have now or do I need to use a slot style?

That looks to be blow thru. You could run the bov if u want to. You could use your current bypass valve and vent it to the atmosphere like a bov would. Or you could keep it recirculating

I'm gonna guess that's a lightning maf? I'm not sure about the maf personally but I remember hearing that lightning maf's peg out with blow thru setups. If you're driving it now with a tune and everything's good then I don't see why you would need a new maf but I'm pretty sure that almost everyone that's blow thru runs a slot style maf. I would talk to your tuner about the maf because some people run the hpx 05+ maf, my tuner told me to get the sct ba5000 maf so I would contact them

Ya i have red a bunch of that info too.. I really just wanted something that was bit louder, my bypass valve now is quiet but does just fine. I came across this Red BOV and thought it might be as simple as removing my bypass valve and possibly retuning.. but not seeming that way now..
