06 seats in a 96?

Default 06 seats in a 96?

Has anyone here tried it and do they bolt right in? I'm looking at a set right now and I was wondering how much work am I in for.

They do not just bolt right in as the four bolts are not in the same locations but you could try to drill new holes in your floor or modify your stock seat brackets to fit the 06 seats...or buy some brackets online.

Definitely get some 06' brackets to go with the seats. That way there will be less snags to run into when installing them. Youl probably have to make new floor wholes like what ^^ they said but that will be the safest bet

I saw somewhere that they make a bracket adapter to do just this...I wish I could remember where.

Pretty sure someone on here did this before... maybe over on SVTP. I'd search around.

It wouldn't be hard to weld a new bracket to fit the 06 seats in the factory bolts. Pretty sure I've seen that done before.

i googled "s197 seats in new edge"

What we did was we completely took off the seat rails off both seats (94 and 05) and swaped them. No addition brackets needed to be made... ...pretty much the only thing difficult was drilling holes for the 94 brackets to screw in, and saudering the 05 wiring to work with the 94 power seat mechanism.
