Hello fellow stangers! So ive got a 96 GT just started the project a few months ago. Got the following mods Hooker LT, off road x pipe, Mac cans dump style, AEM Brute Force intake, MSD ignition and wires, B&M short throw, Aluminum Radiator and elec fans. So the problem is when Im on the throttle and shifting into 2nd my damn belt slips and squeaks. Im shifting around 4500 rpm nothing to crazy. I have installed a new Belt Tensioner and 2 new belts ive wire brushed the pulleys to make sure there was no oil or grease on them. I dont have a oil or coolant leak. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions on what the hell it could be. Any info would help im stumped. Thanks Guys!

Sure you have the right size belt? Is it tight prior to the tensioner pulling to it's limit?
