Not Mustang related content, but it pertains to this:

Cars are built to be driven and enjoyed. It sounds like you're pretty well off. Why not sell yours to someone who will drive it and enjoy it, buy something that needs restored and will be worth money once restored, and start your collection that way?
I understand what you mean, but heres the thing... the car is a 2010 gt and i got it with 45,000k on it. It was a company car in Ohio, so it was mostly highway miles. I guess i worded this wrong.. what i meant was, is i want to keep the miles low at least for now, so that i can match the miles per year.. is that clearer?

I got a fantastic deal on the 2010 because of the miles, it was a great value. And The next car i would pay cash but would take awhile to save.

But to answer your question, I have a decent paying job. And i bust my @ss for this stuff, and couldnt be anymore proud.

I think you can find a New Edge GT with around 50k miles for $8-9k. Mine had 54,000 and I paid $8500. I've put a grill delete kit, chin spoiler, shorty antenna, and head lights on it. It was already lowered (Eibach Pro Kit), Cat back exhaust and CAI.

I god I didnt catch that. So the real story here is either your dad or your grandfather have a 2010GT and don't drive it and now your looking for a Mustang for yourself in the 10K range

Going used I'd prefer a stock ride over a moded ride. With a modded ride you know it's been driven harder which means those lower miles could be just as hard or harder than what a higher mileage car that's been driven more conservatively.

And remember, mods do not increase a cars value; Low miles, good paint, good interior and service records do.

If youre 17 I wouldnt get another mustang, i would get something that will save u gas and not another car that youre gonna be putting more money into on top of the 2010.

I'm 19 and I already put too much money into my car, and i was looking for another car but my parents were right when they said that i dont need another car that im gonna dump money into modding and to buy something that is still fun but not something that is gonna make my money disappear, so to be honest i would reconsider getting another mustang
