Advice on new 94-04 Gt?
hey everybody, right now i have a 2010 gt convertible 5 speed and i love it to death. Only problem is, is that i hate putting miles on it, so its more of my show car and i only put on about 200 miles a month give or take a little bit.
Anyways, im looking for a car that is decently low in miles and in great shape, and im looking for a 94-2004 that i can drive more frequently, yet still mod it up. Can you guys post pics of yours (1994-2004) so i can see mods and different colors, etc? im looking to spend in the $10,000 area, ive been saving and doing well so far.
Please post anything on this topic, just getting peoples input and opinions!

exactly but all of the newer (2000-2004) gt's ive seen are higher in miles and they are bone stock. so i dont know if i should go for an older gt with a few mods and less miles for a little higher price

Here's a thought CARS ARE MADE TO BE DRIVEN SO DRIVE YOU CURRENT CAR .
Put that 10K into making your car better. And if you must be that guy that doesn't drive a perfectly good car look into 96/98 Cobra's these can be had for under $10K and are a great value

I don't understand people who keep new cars as show cars, you go to a car show and theres a million new mustangs, no offense but whats to look at these at a car show? Whats to show off? They weren't restored and half the time they aren't modified past the point of a few bolt ons, i vote drive the new car, if you want a show to take to a car show pick up something older and put the blood sweat and money into restoring it if you wants something to take to a car show.

yeah i get where your coming from and all but i dont know i just see it differently. id rather keep the car at the lowest miles possible, its kind of a weird logic but its how i think haha

So you want to keep your car with low miles b/c you don't want to rack them up, but you want to buy a car with low miles to put miles on???
I vote 96-98 Cobra. Best bang for the buck with your other specs.
Why not get a fun daily driver that's a gas saver?? SVT Focus / Contour comes to mind.

I don't understand your logic.

Cars are built to be driven and enjoyed. It sounds like you're pretty well off. Why not sell yours to someone who will drive it and enjoy it, buy something that needs restored and will be worth money once restored, and start your collection that way?
