Default Wheel Options

Hey Guys I have just recently bought a 96 GT that has Cobra wheels already on it but am looking for something different as far as wheels go. I was curious if anyone has tried to venture away from the common wheels that most be put on our cars and have had success with them. I love the FR500s but I do not really want to be just another SN95 out there riding on them or on Saleen wheels. I have never owned a mustang before I have always been in the import scene and as far as wheels go I still like some of the wheels I would have put on my Nissan. Now I definitely do not want to disrespect anyone that owns a mustang by putting import wheels on the car so that is why I am at a loss. If you got any ideas or pics that would be awesome. I was kind of looking at a set of staggered XXR 527s in gold since my car is white with just a black roof.

Those are not bad IMO. But I wouldnt do gold. A flat black would look awesome with the white and black you already have. Also I wouldnt recommend anything beyond 18" Diameter..most of us here would agree that anything bigger is just too tall for SN95/New Edge mustangs. Id say 18x9 up front and 18x10/10.5 for some nice big meats!

Welcome to MF!

Thanks guys. The only reason I was thinking gold or bronze was because I saw this one sn95 that is white with gold or bronze fr500s and I love the way it looked. I never saw a mustang on xxr, drags or any other tuner wheel company do good to know.
