the clear coat is coming off of the wing, so I'm gonna have it painted black to match the Mach 1 style hood decal I'm putting on it. should look good I think

I belieive v6s got that spoiler while GTs got the other one

^ No, wrong. The spoiler is year specific (down to the build date for the transition year). Cobras (03-04) have the duck tail spoiler.

There were subtle body difference between 99-01ish and 01ish-04 models.

Older cars had the wing style spoiler, chrome backed head lights, and optional hood scoop.
01ish-04 had pedestal style spoilers, black backed head lights, and no hood scoop offered on v6 models. Instead the hood is revised to look like it has a heat extractor. Only Gt's had the hood scoop on them after the changeover.

I actually did not know that... I knew the hood scoops and fog lights were gt..did not know that about the spoilers though

Is ok, I owned a 2000 so I knew the minor differences. My kids can even tell the difference now...
