mine has the non pedestal one while I've seen some same year with the other style. Did ford mix and match them?

Nope. The 99/00 cars had a spoiler unique to their model years, the "pedastal" type you have is on all 01-04 cars except 03/04 Cobra which had a spoiler unique to that particular model.

Oh I misunderstood you. Dunno what to tell you about that; maybe the previous owner liked the 99/00 one better and swapped, maybe due to an accident the entire decklid was replaced with one from an earlier model year, maybe... Could speculate on this one all day. It's also possible that Ford had a few leftover spoilers and stuck one on your car.

I've seen ones on ebay on 01's and newer like mine. maybe they were just using up what they had laying around. but yer right, we could guess all day on it

Early 01s had the spoiler like yours late 01s had the pedestal spoiler

I'd say your's either has been rebuilt or is an '00 build.

You have the '99/00 headlights as well as the '99/00 wing.

^I agree. The side scoops and hood are also from a 99-00.

Side scoops and hood are b/c it's a V6 (note the fender badge and lack of fog lights).

Mine is a January 2001 build date and has the pedestal spoiler.
