Default Rear Sear Air Vents in a 2001??

Silly question, but my kids are burning up in the backseat of my 2001 GT: is it possible to install a rear A/C vent for the backseat riders?? I understand that there will be custom work done and I don't mind doing it - but I don't even know where to start.

Anyone??

Well, a Mark VIII center console pipes air to the back seat. It might be possible to take that style and use it. Also a lincoln towncar has the type that go under the seats and pipe air that way. Something like a cadillac seville goes through the center console as well, only it has a fan to help the air get back there.

The easiest option would be the under seat type, but the performance might be lacking without booster fan.

Try opening the windows and driving faster? Or buy a daddy wagon.

That's kind of harsh haha.

If you haven't already get the rear and side windows tinted as dark as you feel is safe and the law will allow, or if you like go really dark and take your chances.
