Broken Cam Follwers "Rocker Arms"

I just finished installing new head gaskets and timing kit. When i went to turn the car on it wouldn't turn over. I'm assuming i did not get the timing right. So when i went to take the valve covers off to adjust the timing i found 3 broken cam followers on the drivers side head. So i was wondering if i should take both heads off to check for damage to the valves, or if i should just replace the broken cam followers? I used TTY head bolts so i don't want to remove the heads unless it necessary. This the rocker i plan to buy

If there was enough force to break 3 rocker arms then you have to ask yourself how lucky you feel. There is a very good probability you have damaged pistons and bent valves...

lol i think I'm just gonna have to roll the dice on this one, I'm going broke trying to get her running again. I just finished removing the cams. It ended up being 3 got bent and one snapped in half all on the drivers side. But if i do end up having bent valves and damaged pistons how bad would it be and how noticeable?

I ended up just taking off the heads to be sure. I found for bent valves, one for each rocker arm the broke

Not surprising, it takes quite a bit to break a rocker arm. Do the piston tops look OK?

I made a mistake timing my engine once. I was off by a tooth on my passenger side head. After four new valves I had custom dished pistons. :) I ran those stock pistons for another 25,000 miles before I sold the car. I'm hoping your's are okay, too.

the pistons seem fine they have a couple of small nicks but nothing major. I get the head back from the shop tomorrow so im thinking i could have it running again by Friday. Hopefully

Have any pics of these small knicks, it doesn't take much to have issues.
