Default so why are my 1/4 mile times worse then usual?

So i've been going to the track alot this summer, and my times have been AWFUL.

Back in november on stock gears, street tires, and nitrous(among other things, tune, exhaust, etc.) i was running consistant 13s. Never ran slower then a 13.9

Well this summer that hasnt been the case at all, last night was a cool night perfect temperature and everything and with 4.10 gears, 100 shot and wide tires for the track.. i couldnt hit faster then a 14.3.

I'm not sure whats wrong, and its really bothering me hahaha

Do you have an slips you can post so we can get a better udnerstanding of whats going on. Without information regarding trap speed, ET, 60 foot, etc etc we can't even begind to tell you the problem.

the worse the 60 foot, the worse the ET generally. Post up the slips and I'm sure we can figure it out.

Like the rest have said. Post up a slip and go from there.you mentioned wider tires for the track, wider doesn't necessary mean better traction.

I'm sure your 60-foot times will have something to do with it. But also, it looks like you're in New Jersey and you're comparing the air in November to the air in July. Even if it was a cool night last night, I'm sure your car makes more power in November New Jersey air than it does in July New Jersey air.

I'll check back in after you post the slip to see what we're dealing with. Fwiw, if you want a true comparison, you should also post a slip from when you ran it in November.

+1 on this. I like to call mid September to mid November Mustang weather lol.
Humidity sucks dude.. I bet your 1/4 times will go back down once we get out of this humidity.

HOLY CRAP... Even at 95 degrees and 50% humidity last summer on a 100 shot I was running 12.50's at 109. I am sure I have much more tire and suspension but your MPH should still be a lot higher unless you have something wrong with your car. Even New Jersey in the heat is still a better DA than here in perfect conditions which I ran 12.30's earlier this year before removing the nitrous.
