If will notice, i never said your opinion was wrong. I merely pointed out that your argument was crap.

Yeah trickflow doesn't blow up those numbers at all, as a matter of fact no one does. Midpipes WILL net you 15-20hp. /sarcasm, but what do I know, I'm just a spoiled cobra kid.

Like I stated before I have my reasons for not liking 4v whether you like them or see them fit has no relevance to me. my preferance. I want supporting mods for my 2v. if i want to run na for awhile with high compression thats fine with me I can always have another set of dished low compression pistons sitting in stand by for fi. oh and im 21 and I never said there was any relevance to our 281 and the 67 289 all i stated was that i love the sound of that car. I have worked on cars for too long and have also heard people state that they wish the never switched over to 4v because of them being a pain in the *** to work on. like i said before personal preferance

http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/e...s/viewall.html

This is where i got the article from about the 454 hp build but i guess hot rod magazine doesnt know what they are talking about either. i mean i guess they havent been building hot rods for years and are one of the leading reports about hot rods....

That's an engine dyno, you would NEVER see 454 to the wheels with those mods......

If this is a purpose built race car carbed might not be so bad but if you are going to drive on the street I think most everyone would suggest you stick with Fuel Injection...

Supercharge the current engine and be done in my opinion. It will be a lot cheaper and easier, plus you can retain something that resembles fuel economy with fuel injection and you can start it on the first try in the winter

Aside from that you will make more power with a supercharger than the engine can hold anyway. If you are interesded look up the $1500 vortech build in the Pipes Boost and Juice (order of the name might not be right, but its close) section. In reality it will be 500-800 more to go intercooled and everything when its done.

Fuel Injection replaced carbs for a reason.
