Default Patriot Heads are EeevviiiLLLLLL!!!!!

well all i have to say is yeah maybe they have good power and look good, but they are a nightmare when **** is wrong with them and you have no idea whats wrong!! Bought the heads brand new, installed them, with cams and all this other stuff, car started, ran, then boom, oil started filling all 8 cylinders and blowing out the exhaust. WTF so i do compression tests, leak down test, install stock cams, all of this still. CANT fix issue, so i go more desperate, change head gaskets again...still same CRAP. I GO EVEN MORE DESPERATE change all the piston rings! guess what?! ALL CYLINDERS STILL FILLING WITH OIL WHEN RUNNING!!!! Not Thinking heads because, well they are brand ****ing new, even had a machine shop tell me they were ok and good to go! E-mail patriot.... something I dont think is released to the public, well the valve seals, NEW, are an issue with leaking!!! they dont leak where the valve goes thru the middle. They leak where they sit on the head and the spring is on them! they dont seal and when intake valve opens to suck air, it sucks oil from the bottom of the valve seal right down valve guide into cylinders!!! TALK ABOUT A GOD DAMN NIGHT MARE!!!! I just changed them all and RTV the bottom of the seals, i should be starting up tom to see if that FINALLY will stop this oil eating issue!

Ew, right there I would of sent the heads back and got trickflows, im curious to see if RTV holds up in this scenario. How can a company sell heads with a known issue like this.

That's terrible. I'm also interested in how it works out... If it was me, Patriot would be getting those heads back.

That sucks. I've had a few Patriot heads and I didn't have any problems. I do remember them having this issue about 5 or 6 years ago. It was pretty common knowledge from what I remember.
