Default Why can't some GT's be rare?

Why can't some of the GT's be rare? by color/interior/stick or auto/hardtop or vert as like any car once you start adding up the options the number gets smaller..

But i guess the reason i ask is i get alot of people telling how nice my car is as just tonight someone in a black 02 Bullet was really lookin my car over and told me how nice it was and it's just stock.

This is kind of what i mean by the production numbers of 2005 Mustang GT as there was only 15 made is Satin Silver with Parchment interior.

Mustang GT Convertible Automatic Transmission with Black Top

There are some out there... But, since they are GTs, they get overlooked by most people. It's easy when you say Boss, Mach1 Cobra and so on.

It's getting too nit-picky about it. Trying to narrow it down that much doesn't mean it's actually rare. I wouldn't even call a Cobra or Mach "rare". Any car they make thousands of is just another car. 1 of 200 built of a type would be rare. But having to go as far as things like "Mine is 1 of 200 that only has blue paint, grey interior, automatic with ___ package." doesn't cut it (to me).
In 40 years it MIGHT be added value - but at that point any given Mustang will be lucky to be alive let alone similar to only a handful left that were made like it.

Well i think it gives better meaning to the word rare and i agree that alot of what is thought of as rare is not but it is how the car was odered from factory and made as such that makes a car rare to see.

2005 Mustang GT Convertible Automatic Transmission with Black Top in Satin Silver /Medium Parchment = total of 15 made

Why do you keep putting up the specs on that 05 GT. It only has 15 with parchment interior because everyone realized it was the ugliest color ever put in a Mustang.
There Mustangs who gives a **** how many came with certain color combo. Drive the hell out of them when there used up by another

Parchment is pretty ugly . I would like to see how many automatic , convertable mustangs with parchment interior were left for dead ? Mustangs have always been pretty basic cars 70's, 80's, 90's ..... with a few exceptions. Some are nice but I could never justify paying 20 grand for a 93 cobra when a 93 GT is basicly the same for 5 grand (used). Or the price difference of a California special or Bullitt as opposed to there GT counter parts. Or how 2001 Bullitt's were suppose to be collectables and you can find them for less than a regular GT???? I think it's more of a niche market that only some are willing to pay for.

Well just looking at 2 things GT Convertible / Automatic Transmission .. not many was welling to spring the extar buxs for the convertible which for my year would of been 26,000 - 27000 and no one wants an automactic transmission .. (unless your name is Ronnie SOX ) never understood myself as it's alittle bit less on rwhp but it's doesn't make mistakes. then throw a color like
Sonic Blue = 470 units bulit
