I would of loved to gone new parts as well, but it would of been a little over double if not more if i would of went new.
If you can find a used kit for a good price you could send your blower out to get a rebuild before you even put it on then technically you will have a "new" blower. And if you do it this way you will still be a lot cheaper the buying the stuff new.
You could powder coat the pipes and rebuild the blower then the whole kit will look new yakno?
Im not trying to tell you to go this way or that just trying to help out from my experience.

Spelled.
I love my cammed set-up, but it is NOT a great bang for the buck mod. FI is the way to add some serious power. You will certainly wind up spending more than expected by the time all is said and done, but the end result will be fun if you do it right.
Patience is your friend in this endeavor, so don't rush the process and get it right.
Good luck!

I also have a white 2000 GT. I went with a Procharger P1SC with the 2 core air-air intercooler. Also added a BBK 75mm tb, and 75mm C&L upper intake plenum to compliment the setup. With 48# injectors it was $3,470. Add $150 for the BBK and Intake I found on craigs. Not a bad deal for a setup including warranty....
Love it, btw...

honestly, keep and eye out for a used set of cams and do the $1500 Vortech build on the forum, youll make 400rwhp all day and be more than happy with the car. plus itll have enough of a sound at idle to let people know you mean business and having a lopey idle just rules <3
FWIW, i got my COMP 270's, COMP springs, BBK FPR and a few other goodies off craigslist for $300

The $1500 build thread helped me alot. I bought a used head unit/blower and then bought all the brackets new from superchargersonline.com so I wouldn't have to track them all down. The fuel pump upgrade was a PITA but it's doable.
Also BUDGET FOR INTERCOOLER OR METHANOL! Under normal heat and driving conditions my car would pull a ton of timing and kill power. Once I put on the small crappy methanol kit the IAT's were almost same as ambient and the car pulled like a mother.
And if you do a vortech plan on moving the IAT sensor AFTER the headunit. I can't believe the instructions have you put it before the blower. Bad idea IMO

From JD's Performance in Celebration, Florida. I just looked it up though, and it seems that his "service record" has changed since I bought mine... Looks like a couple people have gotten screwed pretty bad ordering through them. So, as far as WHERE to order, I can't say. WHAT to order: Procharger is badass and has great customer care. You can call up and ask any question and their tech dept will be more than happy to help you out. I highly recommend them
