Default Cams or forsed induction???

That is the question.
My 2000 gt is currently my DD but work is maybe 10 minutes away, I have 3.73 gears just in case I ever wanted to go F/I and a few months later I have put aside some money. It is now time to ask for some opinions.

I can put a blower oh her, which is what I really have always wanted to do or just cam the ol' girl.

Cams will save me lots of money but I don't know if I will be satisfied and to be honest , there are so many Superchargers and turbos Iv been looking at that my heads spinning.

Any advice? Also being down in the Texas heat year round, what kind of sc or turbo would be best??
Thanks for the help guys, let me know what path y'all took, maybe I can make up my mind here soon!

honestly, keep and eye out for a used set of cams and do the $1500 Vortech build on the forum, youll make 400rwhp all day and be more than happy with the car. plus itll have enough of a sound at idle to let people know you mean business and having a lopey idle just rules <3

FWIW, i got my COMP 270's, COMP springs, BBK FPR and a few other goodies off craigslist for $300

a blower imo would be the most efficient way and also easier more straight forward install.

I had cams on my car before the blower. What are your goals? I would probably go with the blower 1st and some blower cams after. Also might want to beef up the bottom end if you plan on going that route. GL!

Blower.. as for what type well that all depends on you my friend.. What are you looking to spend and what do you prefer.. As for heat, well I always recommend intercooled but some people are fine without it.

Used or new? 4K isn't much when it comes to FI.. I think for your car you can get the tork tek (or however it's spelled) which looks pretty cool to me. I've seen a few and it's cheap and works.. It's basically a kit deigned to install a 03/04 Cobra SC onto a GT..
