Default Front License Plate Rectangle

I don't know what to call it.

It's that place on the front bumper cover where the license plate goes. I have no intention of putting a plate there on account of the fact that I'm not a big fan of traffic cameras. I don't want to put a different tag there because I don't want to draw attention. Do you guys have any suggestions? The bumper cover looks weird with that rectangle breaking up the shape.

By the way, I'm new here and I just wanted to mention, I love the site. There's tons of great information here. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Are you trying to fill it in or something? I dont think there's really any option of getting rid of it unfortunately

Fill it in or cover it somehow. The car I just sold was a GTO and it has a smooth face. Of course, the good people at Ford put a little space there for our license plates, but didn't count on people not installing tags there, I guess.

It's all good. I'll live if I can't figure it out. I have to say, it does break up the line of the bumper.

Only way around the look is to go with an aftermarket front bumper cover.

Any decent body shop could fill it, and repaint. Likely to be $200 to $400 depending on the shop...

In CA you have to have 2 license plates on a vehicle. Where do you plan on putting the one that was on the front?
