Anyone plan on dealing with the bottom feeders at On 3 Performance?

i actually thought about doing this, but i never expected good quality. My thought would be buy the cheep stuff. since im a welder/fabricator id just buy better tubing when money allowed, and remake. then upgrade turbo to turbonetics, and injectors to whatever. I mean yea why not do it the first time, but this option does take some of the guess work out, and allows upgrades as money allows. Unless people like spending 6-7k on a real kit. By the way, it may be dumb to offer "wrong" stuff. But personally, its a cheepass kit. If it goes in and works for a while great. i sure wouldnt be expecting much for 3k. Price out what the cold side of a hellion turbo kit is hint(almost 3k last time i checked) so im kinda surprised everyone is freaking out so much. Obviously wrong stuff, crap customer service. but anyone looking at these kits cant honestly be expecting much better can they?

Good to know. I know who I won't be buying from ever. Gotta let my buddy know too, he's in the market for a new set.

"The just of it" when he should have said, the "The gist of it.." clues me in to the guys initial problem.

You get what you pay for and if you can't articulate the problem, you're probably part of it.

That said, I wouldn't dare to put an on3 system on one of my vehicles.

This is my thoughts exactly, but from what I remember, hasn't this happened a number of times? If so, I wonder why nothing has been done.

I agree it's false advertisement....

But that guy is a jerk off. Calling 6 months later about an issue - really? Instead of acting like an adult, he starting throwing crap into the fan right off the bat. What did he expect - and warm hug and "I'm sorry"? Get real. What kind of an idiot waits 6 months later to return a part that was wrong? Of course there will be a stock fee, and the ON3guy even offered to flow check them to make sure the idiot customer was correct. He would have had legal ground if he acted right away. And having a video floating around about how he acted on the phone will play to ON3 in court if it comes out.

Fail on both sides.

The reason he waited 6 months is because he didn't complete the install and go for the tune until then. If you have no expereince with a deka injector and someone tells you its a deka injector then he had no reason to question it untill it turns out they were faulty knock offs that was proven at the dyno.

Agreed... but taking that long isn't the sellers fault. If I had someone come after me that long after selling them a supercharger set up, I'd laugh and hang up.... then I'd get on the internet forums and post about how stupid they were for thinking I was going to listen. (Sarcasm)
