No big deal if there's no way, just wanted to make things easier on myself. I love my mustang and fuel mileage is what it is.
Im confused, are you saying you have a problem with your car thats effecting your gas mileage and instead of fixing the problem you want a bigger gas tank instead?

No hes saying he wants a bigger tank so he doesn't have to visit the gas station as often.

Not to high jack the thread, but I'm guessing 200 miles on a full tank (even going into the low fuel light) is rather low? I have 4:10 gears, I also hardly ever go onto the highway. Mainly in town, with some WOT (not in town)

You could look into the 20gallon fuel cell that the Cobra R used....if you have about $2000-$2500 to spend just on a gas tank.... I used to fill up every other day (5.0) till my motor went....now its every 3rd day.... (3.8)...a difference of 20mpg to 27 mpg lol. But I do drive 120 miles a day too....

That sounds about right for city miles.

200 miles is low....thats around 13/14mpg.... but that also depends on how short your trips are before you shut the car off...does it get to operating temp.. yada yada yada

How much are you driving it that filling up is really an issue?

I do over 120 miles a day in mine 5 or 6 days a week....never bothers me to stop. The other thing to consider is adding all that liquid weight is only going to drop your mpg and mean you'll still need to fill up often.
