Hi everyone, Hope the Holiday season is going well for everyone.
The Horn and Cruise Control on my 96 GT stopped working at the the same time. I did some research and since they both went belly up at the same time I assumed that it had to be the clock spring. Of course i checked all of the obvious things like the fuses etc and they were fine. So yesterday I went out and invested in a new clock spring, did the install and to my surprise it did not fix the problem. Now I am perplexed. So odd they would both go out at the same time. I would assume that the problem is related to both, but now I'm not so sure. It would not be such an important issue except that I'm now driving with an expired inspection sticker. The horn has to be operable to pass the inspection so now it isn't a choice of making the repair. I have to get it done asap The Horn contacts in the steering wheel were fine. I checked those when I had the steering wheel off replacing the clockspring. The relays for the cruise control and the horn are separate. Still I don't know how to check the relays to see if they are working. I checked the fuses under the hood and in the interior fuse box with a continuity tester and they all tested good.




Please, Any Ideas??
