Default 4.6L DOHC/SOHC

Got the idea from some internet photos...I have searched the net for pix of the SOHC and DOHC... The net SOHC pic that I found looks quite different than mine... I guess it was the dual Ignition Coils that threw me off... Mine resembles the DOHC at first glance. Although, it is likely to have been the result of all the psilocybin from the '90s....
It is extraordinarily clean, and exceptionally well maintained.
I want to start the horsepower upgrade process....where should I start? Cold air intake? Exhaust? Ideas?

being a non-PI engine(PI engines started in the 99+ gt's), I would recommend skipping all the normal stuff and either doing a full PI swap, which consists of heads, cams, and intake off the newer mustang, or do what you thought was already done and find a cheap mark8 motor or something similar that's dohc to put in. the non-pi motors are not hp freaks in any way so i'd recommend doing this first to get a good base, and you could prolly do either area for less than 1000.

Companies sell these PI upgrades in kits too. Or you can do it the right way and search some junk yards for newer GT parts. Hell...I know a guy selling a complete 4v! Want his number? haha

But seriously...do nothing to your car unless you do a full PI swap.

I'd recommend a PI swap, very good oomph for the money.
