You will need to plug the egr or you can weld the hole shut (what I did)

Or if you have aftermarket headers some of them have bungs in them so you could plug it.

Alright! Found a set of headers and a midpipe. Going to just cut off the bungs for the egr and weld on delete plates.

I found a pic of a modified cobra intake that had the egr and iac areas cut off and plug welded up. Looked clean as hell. Cant find the pic now but I want to do it.

Just bought myself a set of Flowtech headers and an x pipe for $300. Hope I don't end up kicking myself for buying cheap. Oh well...helluva deal.

I'm going to cut off the egr crap.

I've been looking for that pic but I can't seen to find it. Looked cool though man.

Oh...just a little update...

I haven't done much on the car in the last couple weeks since I bought the headers. They shipped out last night, so as soon as they come in, I'm going to schit it 'n git it!

I got my $100 pulley in from paxton last week and....big surprise...no mounting hardware. So I'm going to have to find some way to ge an accurate measurement to weld in a boss on to one of the blower brackets... any ideas?

I've pretty much got everything to get it done except some minor nuts/bolts and tinkering around and 'makin it work' crap.

The reason I'm waiting for the headers is because I'm deleting the EGR so that I don't have that heinous egr tube hanging out in front of the engine taking up valuable space.

Meh... I almost wish I would have forked out the $$$ for a more complete kit. On the other hand...I saved a ton of money! haha.

I'm really only in to the blower for $1700. Thats including the bracket, unit, FMIC, pulley, idler pulley, MAF, injectors, and timing cover.

The rest, like the headers, gauges, expansion tank, and crossover delete is all supplemental.

Those additional parts roughly add up to over $1000.

Thats exactly what I got and for the same price too.

Mine came with gauges as well for the $1700

Good choice on the EGR delete, cleans the engine bay up a lot.

After I did my EGR delete I went thru and deleted all the EGR vacuum lines and got rid of all the wiring that went to the EGR as well and it really cleaned it up a lot
