Cats are bad....replace or not?

OP, if airizona doesnt have emission testing, just go with an off road mid pipe. they have the o2 bungs like someone already said and they dont wear out if stainless. just get the rear o2 sensors turned off in the tune.
if there is emission testing, replace them

Scott, Have marty turn off the o2's and ditch them cats! Our emissions here isnt bad. as long as you have no code, you pass. I've not once seen a visual inspection... or Just hollow out the other side (its like a mesh almost, just take the mid pipe off, and pound the insides out with something and than put it back on) if they're hollowed you will pass visual.

I hollowed out the cats on my V6 and my F150. Made my own MIL from the help of the link. No issues yet.

I ended up ordering 2 new cats from MRT and should have them in a few days. Will just have my muffler shop weld them in. Sucks not being able to drive the car right now. Weather is perfect!
