Love the progress, sub'd for sure! How hard was that deck lid decal to put on? I want one so bad I can't stand it. |

It was fairly easy. just take your time, follow the instructions, line it up right, and squeegee the bubbles. Like i said: Take your time and it will look great! and my personal opinion is that and a set of smoked headlights would finish the basic look of your car! Also i was telling you about the shifter knob a few weeks ago. well.... me and my dad were taking the old shift knob off to putt the boot on and we broke the O/D wires so now i am definitely getting a new shift knob. But got the boot on and i'm ordering the knob soon and then we will fix the od wires and put the new knob on! ill post pics of that when we get it done!
Yeah it is almost impossible to not break those OD wires. And a shift knob really helps compliment the boot imo. Really changes the interior of the car. After I changed mine I had some not-so-tech-savy friends that were riding in the car ask when I did a manual swap. :icon_rolleyes: I seriously do not recommend putting your OD switch in the front of the bezel like I did though. It makes contact with the metal frame inside the dash when you install it, and if you tear apart the interior of your car frequently, it'll kill the switch really quick. Get a little 1/2" diameter push button from Radio Shack and install it on the side of the bezel. I switched to that kind of switch and have had no issues. Plus it is almost invisible which is nice. |
