Mustang VS Ice/Highway
Scenario: Ice + Snow on highway, 315 Nitto NT05 with low tread, literally no brake pad left on rear brakes(making no contact). I went to change lanes, hit the slush and.........

I'm okay. The airbag didnt even deploy. I have no clue why considering I was going 60+ MPH and when I initially hit the median with my right front the rear end of the car lifted up.
We get weather like this about 0-3 days a year. I am honestly a noob at driving in ice/snow. I got let out of work early and was trying to rush home to do a workout and this is what I got for myself. Cant describe how I felt once my car finally came to a stop and I looked to my right to see my entire front end scattered across the highway.
I'm going to do everything I can to fix this car back. I'm about 99.99999% sure the insurance company will total it. I had/have the money saved up to do a powertrain rebuild on it so it looks like i'll be using that money to fix it. This is my baby. This is my first mustang and i'm a lifer with mustangs. I've put a lot of thought/energy into this. This is my car.
My plans for this car still stand if I can save her and are as follows:
Keep the 2.1L for streetability/drivability(maximum boost).
Forge and stroke motor to a 302(8.5-9.0 to 1 CR)
Stage II/III port/polish + valve job + bronze guides
Supporting fuel(Returnless: GT40 pumps/Big injectors)
Supporting Spark
Methanol Injection kit
Huge Accufab throttle body
10 rib pulley setup
Supporting torque converter
3.73 gears
FLSFCs
My ultimate goal for this car was 600RWHP. Doubt it would make that due to the auto but it would probably be close. Hopefully I can do this someday. Hard to justify that with how easy new mustangs are getting there without such extreme changes.
