Sweet.

Today I got the quarterhorse installed and the stock tune dumped into it so it would run. I just got to figure out what else I need to get tuning.
the Strategy for the CDAN4 is what I tried but had a few pop up errors.
I looked up my eec on that excel spread sheet and it seems to show mine is a CDAN3

I might have to by the defs for that.

In between having to spend Saturday for my two older daughter's birthdays (18 and 16 yrs old now, a few days apart so we celebrate both together) I was able to get a chance to install the quarterhorse tuning interface.

I didn't have to bend any electronic components out of the way in my eec.
That was nice.

Nothing like some HVAC "Death Tape" as I call it, to seal it up.
(The adhesive is a real PITA to remove once it cures!)

I've fiddled with BE 2012 a bit but I guess I may have to throw down some cash for some definitions that will give me a vast head start from what I understand.

Hey, look at this.
Someone is selling a nice looking 4.6 PI motor for $400 on craigslist.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/pts/3589761452.html

If I had the extra coin for a spare engine... wow. That's like 15 minutes from me too.

Oh indeed always gotta carry the foil tape.
But look closer. It's not plain foil tape. It's what I call "DEATH TAPE" because it has that GOO on the backside and once it sticks for a while it never wants to peel off!

The stuff people seal RTU's to ductwork on roofs and almost never leaks.

You may recognize it now. LOL!

That sucks because that motor and 10psi would get you close to your 400rwhp, the npi setup and 7psi might not even break 300, wonder what he would want fot the motor plus the missig valvetrain parts

You're in Peoria/Glendale area?

I'm in El Mirage.

If I wasn't spending my coin on tuning hardware/software I'd go pick it up.

Perhaps. But since boost pressure itself is nothing but backpressure of air NOT getting into the chamber, it is going to also vary on the final construction of the piping, and just how it works.

We've got well more than 400 so far out of other STOCK restrictive 2v V8's.

But that figure could very well be what it takes it the intake tract is that crappy. But I think people are not giving the stocker early 4.6 enough credit. :-)
