True you will shift sooner but.....when you shift your RPMs will not drop down as far thus, keeping you in your powerband

Another big thing people overlook is what tire will be ran, that is greatly important when selecting a gear ratio

i wouldnt want any other than 4.10s with my blower, yeah first is short, but it pulls hard and i love it

By just saying 275 theres no way to identify tire height

I have 3.73 in my 5spd. Its good but I wish I had gotten 4.10 or at least 3.90.

I drove a buddys automatic with 4.10 and wasn't impressed. My 5spd with 3.73 felt like a rocket compared to his. He even thought so himself. So don't fear the gear for an automatic. Go 4.10 at least and bump up shift firmness with a tuner.
