Blue book is going for 10k in good condition... I know he wouldn't take 5200 lol. If I could get it for 5200 I would cry lol. That may be possible in your area, but here a beat to **** 97 v6 mustang will still fetch 3k on any given day.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. If your happy with it then I would go with the 8k and see if he takes it. I just bought my 02 conv. GT with 21,000 miles for 11k. It KBB at 13995. Just do it. Drive it. Be happy. Congrats in advance.
