1st mod list done ... What next?
Just looking for some new ideas. I have most of the basic bolt ons done- gears, cai , exhaust, springs, tune, shifter ... but not sure what to do next . Would love to supercharge it , but dont have 5 grand laying around. Also thought about upgrading the cams maybe comps or hi techs stage 2's just to have a strong lil' 2v on a budget. Only problem is the car is my daily driver 6 days a week with no alternate transportation along with the fear of interferance engines. Other than lowering springs all suspension is bone stock. So possibly looking at stuts, strut mounts, LCA's something along those lines to keep the mod bug going. Any of you guys hit a wall after your 1st mod list was checked off ?

No long tubes yet ...... Had a long tube run in on my 82 GT when I was very green and I'm not sure if I want to go back down that road. LOL Maybe????

Long Tubes are a nice upgrade, but installation is a bit of a hassle and a bit costly if pay to have them done.
Cams are SWEET, but not a cheap mod unless you do the work yourself to shave some of the cost.
Depending upon what you use your car for, additional suspension mods would be my suggestion. FLSFC, struts/shocks(since you have lowering springs w/ old dampers), LCA are all good upgrades. I am rather fond of Eibach swaybars as a noticeable upgrade on any mustang.
It is very hard to suggest next mods without knowing more about what you plan to do with the car(cruise, commute, drag strip, autox, show, etc).
Be careful about just throwing parts on without a plan for what you are trying to achieve. You can "waste" a ton of money that way. Many mods work best when combined with other specific mods.

I use it more for commute/cruise I don't drag race nor do I auto cross. I love mustangs and this is my 5th one and really my first time modding it and making it my own. I'm a mechanic and understand the work involved with heads and cams and superchargers. So I know it being my daily driver that those things can affect driveability. Was thinking about bilstein struts or tokico as my next move.

Sorry for the 2 part response I'm at work. On the LCA's do they make a drastic improvement over stockers and if I'm not playing hard are the worth the money ? This is why I started the thread cause I don't want to just throw money away and was looking for ideas.

LCA are needed if you play hard, but not so much if it is just a DD and cruise vehicle.
Since you are a mechanic and able to do the work yourself, I'd suggest cams. They add a nice gain in power, but the sweet sound at idle is a lot of fun for stop lights and cruise-ins.
I seriously regret not at least P&P my heads while doing the cams.

Good point. I would love cams and some trickflow heads , but 2,100 dollar heads aren't in the budget at the moment. I guess it's as good a time as any to start saving for cams then. I make no sense!!! I dont want to install long tubes , but do want to install cams ???? lol Thanks for the input.
