I have a 98 GT with an idle issue while AC is running. When the AC compressor kicks on the RPM drops below 500 when the car is stopped and the clutch is depressed. On occasion it seems like it is about to stall before the idle surges up to normal. Any ideas?

Turn off the AC problem solved.

99.44% of idle problems are caused by a failed/failing Idle Air Control (IAC) valve...

I was going to say IAC valve too. If not that its never a bad idea to change plugs and wires if its been a while.
