Default S197 Seats in an SN95 (2000 GT COnvertible)

WIll they bolt right up or do I need to modify the frame?

I ask because I can grab two leather interior seats from a wrecked 2012 for $400

I like the confort of the S197 seats better than the SN95 seats which is why I am considering this change.

I have 2007 Pony Package V6 front seats in my car. The seat track holes that bolt into the floor are much longer/farther apart than the stock SN95 locations. I bought seat adapter plates from some online store (I forget their name..) and used those. Just to note, they did increase the seat height which decreased head clearance from the roof of the car.

Other people on other forums have done their own modifications to make it work. I think one dude used the SN95 seat tracks on the S197 seats while another made new holes in the floor for the S197 seat tracks. I made a thread about it with some info regarding the swap.

Are both of your seats power?

I've seen guys on here (or corral?) who did it using the SN95/NewEdge seat tracks and I'm told that, in fact, the S197 seats in this method can be adjusted MUCH closer to the floor than even stock SN95 seats....and that the SN95 power seat harness can be adapted to the S197 seat without rewiring the car at all.

I'm curious to see a detailed HOW TO now that S197's are commonly found in salvage yards.
