Rattle can look good if done right, and only black in m opinion, it takes alot of time and prep work to do it right, and if not it will look terrible. Also if the car is kept outside ts gonna fade ad look terrible. Mine looked like it was professional sprayed hot rod black, it even won car shows and people didnt beleive t was rattle car, and its not even a show car.

It's all about how you do it.
Prep it and care for it, and it can be an ok thing.

Some people here just get really butt hurt if you do something to your own car that they don't approve of. Especially if it's away from what 99% of Mustang owners would do.

Op, if you do right like uber and roush are talking about, it should be fine. Might over a short time but sounds like the paint is already rough. I vote a two tone of flat black and flat yellow.

Its just hard to keep it looking good if its parked outside, if mine wasnt garaged im sure the sum would of put blotches all over it fast, can try a clear coat matte too

Thanks all for your help. Things get personal when everyone is so passionate about there cars and that is not a bad thing but I am used to it. When I had my Jetta now the VW was a hard group to talk with. Everyone had the same rims and the same mods. If it was not on their list of brands watch out. I did not buy bbs rims and i got 20 posts saying to ban me lol. Yeah it will be garage kept and I think I am leaning to black. I might try an orange on something else to get an idea of how it may look. I an on doing it in the next week or so and will have photos up when done.

Still trying to decide on matte black or orange. I'm worried the orange will show imperfection more than the black. Here is the orange I like

Which proves just how much winning "People's Choice" really means!
