Default Christmas is coming up, don't know what to get!

I am choosing between 70mm throttle body, polished aluminum upper intake plenum.

Few questions first, would the 70mm TB work with the factory intake plenum? is the factory hole diameter smaller than 70mm? If so I would just stick with the stock one and go with the new TB.

Done some research, and I am not going to use the factory plenum with the new TB. I found the throttle body I'm getting, 70mm SR Performance from American Muscle.

But I am now stuck on which plenum.

this Trick Flow one. My only concern is where IAC goes, there is 2 openings on it, and I know the gasket won't match up to that big opening on it. I'm worried about having idle issues unless someone knows more about it.

annnddd this SR one from American Muscle. You can see how the IAC spot on this one is just the round opening. That's the only thing keeping me from deciding and ordering!

any help?

Dont get either. Dont waste your money on crap that wont make a difference. With a 2v 4.6, the only things you should buy are:

Full exhaust, a shifter and some gears. Less than 2 grand if you do it. Thats all the bolt ons you need.

I have all of those you mentioned haha. But I feel there's more to it to gain other than those.

No, you dont. You need long tubes. Long tube headers complete the "full exhaust". LTs and gears are the ONLY thing you actually feel. a TB/plenum is money in the trash unless you have forced induction.

LTs
4.10 rear end gears
and a tune.

end thread, unless wondering about a blower.

What gears would you recommend? How are 4.10s?

4.10s are awesome if you have the tires and suspension to support them. We carry both at www.uprproducts.com
