Default NEW CLUTCH!

ok so for those who have been sort of following my build, i had to short cut getting heads for now, because lethal had a killer deal on McLeod clutches. So i bought myself the rxt twin disc and ive never been so excited about a clutch lol. But for those looking for high hp clutches, on the 20th they are have one more 24hr sale on them, 20% off McLeod ...for those who have been looking at these dam expensive high hp clutches...that's a lot of savings, i saved a little over 260 bucks. kinda a big deal, like getting the flywheel for free almost. anyway im stoked....now i just need to buy heads and get on with the machining!

i just hope i dont run out of money....lol baby due in may so im on a tight timeline. I may give up power for a while just to have a driving car. So the intake/elbow, inter cooler, 8 rib swap, may wait until i know i can afford it, so i might be limited on power by the current inter cooler and pullie size. but at least if i build it right the stuff is easy to change with everything in the car. on that subject does anyone have experience with innovates west crank pullies? Im wondering if the bolt in or they need to be clearanced? also if i get an 18% od does it contact the water pump pullie? and lastly does it overdrive anything to where id need to worry about it?

I ordered the same clutch on the 10th . It was a killer deal and I figured I had to bite the bullet and grab one.

thats why i bought it, hard to ignore how much i saved...plus i needed a clutch that could handle the current power goal, and the future one, and i think this fits the bill, so now with no worry i can add a 200 shot or upgrade to a ysi and i should be all good. minus whatever else i would break in the process lol.

clutch should hold but if u plan on making that huge power prob need new discs if u still have a 10 spline input shaft on the trans. Big holding clutchs + big power + sticky tire launch usually ends bad for 10 spliners.

thats why i bought the 26 spline, one of the many upgrades this time around. when im done the only weak point will be the factory axles. And i can afford to break that. but im not running slicks anyway
