Default hood update for those following

not the best quality but you get the idea. So as far as where im at, hood has been filled so no more fake vent, block sanded...then block sanded....then block sanded....lol that goes on for a while. Right now it just has a flat black seal coat over it. And yes i did cut holes in the hood, so now i have 2 very functional hood vents. Steps to come, final fiberglass layer and reinforcement of new holes, then Carbon fiber layer, then bond the vents in...then enjoy my new one of a kind hood. YAY! btw this has been a huge time consuming pain in the ***...

Depends on how long it takes for the last few steps, since they are important for final finish it could be a few weeks, doesn't matter much car isnt running, and after it's done I need to work on front fenders and trunk and rear bumper, so it will be a while before car is really back together

i get the feeling people arent fans...haha, i still prefer it over the fake useless vent in the center, or the even more useless stick on fake vent that impedes your vision...
