Sunday morning darg race
Fun morning. my wife ans I have a tradition where the 2 Sunday's a month I have off we take the Stang out to go to breakfast and our usual diner is only about 2 miles away so I talked her into going to a different diner so the ride was a little longer and more enjoyable. well I stopped at a light and in my rear view mirror was an 05 or newer Vert. not knowing if it was even a 6 or 8 when the light turned green I just made a little noise but took off kinda slow and realize in my mirror he though I was going to go for it and he almost ran into me ( well not really but jumped out) so after shifting into 2nd I went for it and did he, I grabbed 3rd and traction control kicked in a bit from tire spin by now he was able to change lanes to go for the pass and I grabbed 4th we were over 100 he started to pull then we ran out of room. if more time he may have caught me but as far as I know I only ever saw him in the rear view, I'll take it. after we backed off and he pulled beside me he gave my the thumbs up. lots of fun. hope to meet up with the guy again to talk stangs.
