Default fixing a spun rod barring/ bottom end rebuild, on a strck budget

I have a 4.6sohc that spun a rod barring. I'll be doing all the work in frame. I plan on replacing the crank, the damaged rod and piston, main and rod barring, new rings, and all the gaskets and seals. My question is do I need all new connecting rods and pistons? And has anyone dun this with used/remanufactured parts. The engine has a tic over 100k and is being used as an everyday driver. Thanks in advance.
