??Pop in front end when accelerating??
Ive got a 98 vert GT. I just put new brakes all the way around and got a pop in the front end after doing the pad break in. (5 hard stops from 40mph to 5mph) after doing this I have a pop in my front end when I get on the car real hard. Its usually just one pop but some times more, then again after getting on it in second gear. From inside the car it seems as the noise is coming from near my feet but it also comes from the passenger side some times. It didn't do this before the pad/rotor change, although the new pads stop twice as quick as the old ones! Ceramic is great! Anybody got any ideas what this could be? Maybe k-member bolts are loose?

Thanks for the input guys. I had a good idea of what the problem could be I just wanted to hear other people say it, I think! I wouldn't mind the noise but it sounds like a solid hit from a hammer on to the floor board every time I take off hard. I been to busy lifting my jeep to even get under the car and see whats up with it.

I just put a engine in mine and have the same noise. The same areas. My xmember is jacked up from being so low. Just bought the car and the xmember was already bent up pretty bad. It was hard to reinstall after putting the engine in. I'm pretty sure for me the xmember is not sitting in there properly from the bends. May need to try to tighten the bolts. I agree these cars aren't precision Lexus or BMW's or anything.
