Help: Mustang vibration and Koni strut/shock adjustment setting
Hi All!
I just did an overhaul on my 80k suspension.
New setup:
Koni Sport Adjustable - shock / struts
Bilstein quad shocks
H & R super sports lowering springs (convertible)
Polyurethane Spring Isolators on all
Steeda Bumpsteer Kit
Maximum Motorsport Caster Camber Plates
Had a shop do the install and Ford did the alignment.
Question, I’m getting a lot vehicle vibration/shake at highway speeds. The vibration is so bad that it shakes my cell car mount on my windshield back and forth that I can’t read the gps. I understand that the suspension will be a totally different ride (really sporty) but I really feel that there’s something wrong.
Thoughts? Wheels need to get rebalanced or the alignment was done wrong or do you think something was installed incorrectly? --- or I'm just really crazy and just feeling the stupid road surface (NC has some pretty bad roads).
For the Koni owners, what adjustment level did you set your struts/shocks?
Really appreciate any help you can give!

First thought would be to rule out an out of balance wheel. Are you able to narrow down the corner of the car that the shaking might be coming from? If the shaking is present on roads where it previously was not, or just occurs every time you hit whatever speed range then I think you can rule out the road surface
As far as dampener adjustment, the general rule of thumb I'm aware of is to start out in whatever the middle setting would be, and make gradual adjustments to either harder or softer based on ride quality or handling needs.
