Default Tire rod end question

What's up everyone. New mustang owner here. Got a 2002 mustang gt 4.6l v8 and I have a question. Whenever I turn my wheel I get a killer creeking noise. Wanted to know if anyone has ever had this issue and if you replaced the tire rod ends or greased them up. Let me know thanks!

Before you condemn the tie rod ends. I'd make sure it isnt a ball joint. The noise you hear is called "dry socket". Best way to pinpoint is take a pick and poke a tiny hole in the rubber boot of one component(tie rod end or ball joint) one at a time. And spray some penetrating oil in there. Fill one up at a time and then turn the wheel back and forth until you find which joint is making the noise

My daughter has a 98. Her car was making a clunking creaking sound. I changed the inner & outter tie rods. Ball joints and while I was down there I changed the struts and sway end links. Total for parts was less that $200 so if you have to do suspension work the good news is the replacement parts are very cheap if you do the work your self.

Another potential problem is the bearing on top of the strut. I had that go bad on a Windstar (minivan- don't laugh, I have 4 kids) years ago and it sounded horrible.
