Would you change the oil?

Would you change the oil?
I don't drive my car a lot, as I have a second vehicle as well as a motorcycle.
I changed the oil in the GT in January, 2014. I used Royal Purple full synthetic oil and a Royal Purple filter. Since that oil change I have put on 3,100 miles.
Since it has been a year I am thinking of changing the oil, but using Royal Purple full synthetic maybe I should wait since I only put 3,100 miles on it?
What would you do?

I would change it.
If you are interested, you should take a sample and ship it off to some oil analysis place so they can take a look at it (test it/examine it) and tell you how much oil life was left. I've never done it myself though so I don't know if they just mail you a container or how exactly it works.

Personally I would change it. It might not make any difference but piece of mind is priceless. I believe the time interval is around 8 months for recommended oil change. Obviously this depends on conditions, oil type, weather conditions, where the car was stored, etc. Personally, my daily gets changed every 5,000 miles while over two get it at least once a year ( driven very little).
