Exclamation Car not starting at all...Please Help??

I have a 2003 Ford Mustang GT and all of a sudden it has decided not to start. This problem started yesterday evening while at the neighborhood Auto Zone when i stopped to get some new windshield wipers. And when i came back out and tried starting the car..it wouldnt. I popped the hood and jiggled the battery cables a couple times and finally it started. So then this morning i was taking my daughter to school and went outside to warm the car up and it stated right up. Dropped her off and came back home. This was around 8am. Then at 11pm i decided to go make a run and then it wouldnt start again. And each time it does this, i mean it gets no power at all, no lights or nothing coming on. So i played with the cables again, tried it again, turn it to the ON position and the lights on the dash lit up and soon as i try and start it, i get nothing. Turn it back and then try and re start it and get zilch. So i tried this for atleast 20mins trying to get the car started and it wouldnt. So i took the battery to Auto Zone to have it tested and they said the battery was bad, so i bought a new one. Came home and installed the battery. Turn the key to the ON position, then proceeded to start it and NOTHING...no power or anything. Turn the key back and try and re start and still nothing. So i unplug the batter cables from the battery, then put them back on. Car has power again, lights working..etc. But when i try and start it i get nothing. Then i unplugged the cables again, put them back on and i have power again, but car still will not start like the battery is dead. So i just unplugged the cables again and put them back on..power came back, but this time i just let it be. Does anybody know what could be causing this?? Need Help Please!!

fuel filter maybe? Try turning the key and letting it sit on accessory mode for like 10 seconds and then try and start

Does it make any clicking like its trying to start or absolutely noting? Could be something as simple as a burnt out relay or fuse or loose starter cable......Not on my mustang, but a different car, I had a similar problem and the starter relay soldering cracked, so when it was cold it would start up, but as soon as it was warm the gap expanded and it wouldn't start til I let it cool down again.

It makes absolutely no sound, like the battery is completely dead. But i just put a brand new battery in it. But i will check both things you guys suggested.

Did you clean the battery posts and the battery cable terminators with a terminal cleaning brush?

Any corrosion or oil on either will keep the battery from charging properly, and prevent a good battery from supplying enough current to start a car. Both should be cleaned EVERY TIME you remove a battery connection, and about once a year.

An easy way to see if you are getting a good connection is to use a volt meter, or turn on your head lights and try to start the car. If they headlights don't come on at all or are very dim, check your battery or cables. The headlights should come on and dim when you try to start the car, and be fully bright when you let off on the key is it does not start.

I had this issue on my 2000, I had to replace the terminal connectors and clean the wiring harness. once I did that no more problems.

Mostly it's your battery cables or ends or you wires. Ez way to check the ground side cable is to hook a jumper cable to the negative side and the other end to the block closer to the starter is better. You can do the same thing with the positive side but it's much harder.
