Key fob combo

Key fob combo
I did a search and found that the 02 GT has a separate transponder key and fob. I own a 04 GT and probably the same story. But, I was informed that "if it has either a collar or tabs around the ignition it will not work". Does the 04 have the tabs or collar? Thanks, Ed

This pic is from my Sport Trac but anyway our cars have the same style "collared" opening on the switch. The newer style fob/key combo device will not fit; as far as I know you're stuck with what you got already.
