Default 2003 GT Mustang

I have a 2003 GT Mustang that does a few weird things.First of all it will shut off when you apply the brake pedal. It does this intermittingly.Secondly i had a few things fixed on it and the mechanic told me that the radio was staying on all the time draining the battery so he pulled the fuse out.Put in an aftermarket CD player and it still does it.Thirdly the car runs poorly like a cylinder not firing and no engine lights come on.Not sure of the battery condition if that can cause poor performance.

sounds like you have a faulty break booster. probly leaking vacuum, coupled with a dirty or sticky iac

brake booster in these cars are htdro boosters run by the power steering so the brake buster shouldnt have anything to do with it. what tranny do you have

if its only shutting off when breaking is does it only die when coming to a complete stop. there is no part of the brake system that is tied into the engine. which makes me think its a trans issue maybe a torque converter staying locked up when it should be allowing for slip as you come to a complete stop. it can also be the cause for a rough feeling engine although if it still is feeling like its missing at high rpm then the trans is likely not causeing the rough running engine.

As usual it is now not killing the motor when i touch the brake pedal. This car is so possessed by evil forces that don,t want it be be driven at all.I think i have only driven it like 50 miles in 14 months.
