Default Mach 1000 sub upgrade

I am trying to instal my 2 12s and my amp. I had them in my Durango they worked awesome but when I put them in the mustang I get the amp to come on but the subs won't do anything. Everything is connected as should I have a after market head unit but I'm wondering if because the car has the Mach 1000 wiring why won't it work. I have the remote wire to the remote wire on the radio which is also connected to the factory subs

Where is the amp getting signal from - you got RCA's running straight off the back of the head unit? I assume you have the amp wired up all legit, fat power wire coming straight from the battery rather than trying to splice in to the factory amp power, right?

And stupid question but, in the head unit's settings is the subwoofer turned on and sub level not at 0?
