Default prime oil system

how? just turn it over a few times once it is in long block?

is it a new new motor? did you use assembly lube if you put it together? on mod motors Ive never had a problem with disabling the fuel and cranking the motor with the key until oil pressure builds up

you can hold the gas pedal to the floor, turn the key and crank as long as you want until you let up on the pedal

Of the 30 or 40 mod engines I've built and installed not one did I ever have to prime. Assembly lube is enough for the 2 seconds it takes for the engine to build pressure.
